What is Email Forwarding/Aliasing?

With Email forwarding, you can direct e-mails that are addressed to multiple email accounts to one single POP3 (email) account. For example, info@yourdomain.com, sales@yourdomain.com & billing@yourdomain.com can all point to joe@yourdomain.com. We can also forward your emails to other Internet addresses such as your existing personal email account. For example, info@yourdomain.com can be forwarded to you@aol.com.

Sometimes, emails are addressed to you with misspelled or a mistyped person's name. At Fiona Web Goddess all accounts come with what we call a shell email account. Such mails will not be returned to sender because at Fiona Web Goddess any mail addressed to @yourdomain will automatically go to your shell account. Any mail sent to an unknown user in your domain will be forwarded to this address. This is very useful since it collects all mail going into your domain even when the user is unknown.

What is an email autoresponder?

Answer
An email auto-responder is an email feature which automatically responds to incoming emails. All mail going into the autoresponder can be forwarded to another account. The return document should be less than 20K. All Fiona Web Goddess accounts come with autoresponders. You can set up your autoresponder using our Point & Click Menu.

What is POP Server?

Answer
The Virtual POP service allows a company, new to Email systems to inexpensively establish an internet email box for each employee which is activated by their own individual password. This is because with the virtual server a company does not need to purchase an expensive commercial gateway to pay for excessive dedicated Internet connection.
